RED DEVIL ON TRIAL AT THE GATE?...

BCFCTimes understands that Manchester United youngster Richard Eckersley is on trial with Bristol City.

Eckersley is a young full back who can play on either side, though his natural position is on the right side. He has yet to make any appearances for the Premiership Champions but has been part of the set-up at Old Trafford for a number of years.

The 20-year old was one of the stand out players for Manchester United Reserves last season which was rewarded when coach Brian McClair shortlisted him for the Reserve Player of the Year award.
