Bristol City have came out of their two latest pre-season friendlies undefeated.

The Robins played out the first fixture on Friday night against Weymouth, Johnson lined up a youthful starting line-up bar the strike-force of Brooker and Trundle and the midfield duo Kevin Betsy and Brian Wilson.

All six goals of the 3-3 draw came before half time and it was City who fired ahead to a 2-0 lead as both Welsh youth internationals James Wilson and Christian Ribeiro converted Kevin Betsy corners.

Within moments Weymouth halved City's lead through Kevin Sandwith but Kevin Betsy extended the lead again after calmly slotting home an accurate through-ball from Lee Trundle.

Weymouth's Scott Beavon had the last say in the match as he bagged a brace just before half time to save a draw for the hosts.

However a stronger squad took to the stage at the Fitness First Stadium, but it wasn't until late on that the deadlock was broken.

Dele Adebola took his pre-season tally to 3 as he headed home a James Wilson cross on the 83rd minute to snatch City's second win of this years pre-season.
