City boss Gary Johnson has announced that he has three bids tabled as he plans to strengthen the squad for the coming season.
The ex-Yeovil Town chief stated that two of the bids were for strikers the other target was not disclosed. Johnson also mentioned that Enoch Showumni and Darren Byfield were released during the summer to make way for new strikers.
City have been revealed to be tracking Nottingham Forest's Nathan Tyson and Egyptian international Emad Meteb and these are thought to be where the two bids for attackers are going.
The third and final bid could be going to a replacement for Carle, an out and out right winger or a centre back. City have recently been linked with the left sided Ross Wallace of Sunderland. Wallace can play as a left winger and a left wing-back but Sheffield United are also said to be interested.
Scott Murray and Chris Weale both put pen to paper today as both signed a new one year deal with the club.
